NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE ORO VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL

The Oro Valley Town Council invites the community to attend a public hearing on

Wednesday, November 4, 2009, 6 p.m.
Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Dr.
Oro Valley, Arizona

Public Hearing: Ordinance (O) 09-___, OV9-09-01, Vistoso Partners, represented by the WLB Group, requests approval of a Planned Area Development (PAD) Amendment for portions of Rancho Vistoso Neighborhood 5, generally bounded on the north by Rancho Vistoso Boulevard, on the east by the Big Wash, on the south by Tangerine Road, and on the west by Rancho Vistoso Boulevard.

The purpose of this PAD amendment is to bring the properties proposed for a General Plan amendment (OV11-08-04) into zoning conformance with the proposed General Plan land use designations.  The proposal would result in the relocation of the school site, the relocation of residentially-designated area to a location along the proposed Moore Road to Arrowsmith Road loop (with no increase in the number of potential dwelling units), and the creation of a wider riparian corridor along the Honeybee Wash.

Public Hearing: OV809-003, Curry Architecture LLC, request approval of a conditional use permit for an Independent Living Facility (111 units) and duplex cottage suites for a 9.36 acre site at the northeast corner of E. Lambert Lane and N. Highlands Drive.

The meeting will be held in the Town Council Chambers. The public is encouraged to attend and will be invited to speak. OV3-09-01A , McDonald’s Cooperation, represented by Fluoresco Lighting and Signs, requests approval of an exemption from the Rooney Ranch PAD sign standards, located in Rooney Ranch Parcel B, located in proximity to the northwest corner of Oracle Road and First Avenue, parcel # 220-09-0260. 

The exemption would permit McDonald’s to utilize the Oro Valley Zoning Code Revised sign standards, which permits a wider range of signs than the Rooney Ranch PAD.  The meeting will be held in the Town Council Chambers. OV12-08-09, La Cholla Tangerine, LLC, represented by Coronado Engineering and Development, Inc., requests approval of a landscape plan for the “Rancho Del Cobre” subdivision, located on the southeast corner of Tangerine Road and La Cholla Boulevard.

The proposed subdivision contains 68 residential lots on 70.42 acres, with an average lot size of approximately one-half acre.  The public is encouraged to attend and will be invited to speak. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE ORO VALLEY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

In accordance with Sec. 21.6.H of the Oro Valley Zoning Code Revised and Arizona Revised Statutes Sec. 9-462.06,

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Oro Valley Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 commencing at or after 3:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive and the subject matter will be as further described below:

OV10-09-03: Cimarron Circle Construction representing Manas Jain and Sirisha Maddipoti requests a variance from the required 5’ rear yard setback to 3’ for an inground spa.  Subject: (parcel #224-28-3190) located at 10750 N. Chapin Ct, Oro Valley, AZ, 85737.
