Metal Detecting

Before you start searching for buried treasure in our parks, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department for a Metal Detector Membership at (520) 229-5050 or e-mail: recreation@orovalleyaz.gov

You may also fill out the 2012 Metal Detector Membership  Permit Application.

Metal Detector Permits are FREE and valid from January 01, 2012-December 31, 2012. 

 Metal Detecting at Steam Pump Ranch (10901 N Oracle Rd) is strictly prohibited!

Parks Permitted for Metal Detecting:   (Sunday - Saturday:  6:00 am to 10:00 pm)

CDO Riverfront Park (551 W. Lambert Lane)

Naranja Town Site (660 W. Naranja Dr.)

West Lambert Lane (1750 W. Lambert Lane.)
