Computer Policies

Appropriate Behavior on Computers

  • Only persons logged onto a computer are allowed in the computer area.
  • Patrons using computers should refrain from conversations with each other or while on cell phones as this distracts others from their work.

Oro Valley Public Library Etiquette

(Rules of Acceptable Behavior)
  • Speak in hushed tones or quiet voices so others may read or study
  • Parents are responsible for their children's behavior
  • Respect books and other items by placing them on the tables or book carts, please do not reshelve the items
  • Use tables and chairs appropriately
  • Book carts and fire alarms are not toys
  • No running or jumping in the library
