Donating

Donating Books to the Library

The library does sometimes accept donated books.  However, donated books are not automatically added to the library collection.  Only books that meet the criteria defined in the library's collection development policy will be considered. Any book that is not added to the collection is given to the Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library for resale in their Book Shoppe, which is located in the library.  The donor can receive a tax deductible receipt.  The proceeds of the book sale go to fund library programs and services.  For more information, please contact the library at 520-229-5300 ext. 3.

Donating In Honor or In Memory of Your Loved One

The library places bookplates in donated or selected books to memorialize gifts received in honor or in memory of a loved one.

Donating Money to the Library

The library graciously accepts monetary donations to fund library programs and services.  Please contact the library at 520-229-5300 ext. 3 for additional information.
