The Oro Valley Town Council invites the community to attend a public hearing on

Wednesday, March 7, 2012, 6 p.m.
Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Dr.
Oro Valley, Arizona

Public Hearing: A Zoning Code Text Amendment amending Chapter 28 Signs of the Oro Valley Zoning Code Revised to add standards for community event signs and amend the allowable colors for banner signs (OV 711-009).

Request for approval of Conceptual Site Design, Conceptual Architectural Design, and Conceptual Public Artwork for LA Fitness, a 45,000 square foot indoor recreation facility on a 8.5 acre site at the northeast corner of Oracle Road and Hardy Road. OV1211-08, OV1311-15, and OV512-01.

Request for approval of a PAD Exemption from the current sign guidelines and approval of a new Master Sign Program for Rooney Ranch Area B. The changes would permit the businesses in Rooney Ranch Area B to utilize a Master Sign Program specific to Area B. OV311-006.

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers. The public is encouraged to attend and will be invited to speak. In accordance with Section 21.6.H of the Oro Valley Zoning Code Revised and Arizona Revised Statutes Title 9-462.06,

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Oro Valley Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, commencing at or after 3:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Town Council Chambers at the Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive, and the subject matter will be as further described below:

OV1012-01: The WLB Group, Inc. requests a variance for Lot 25 in the Catalina Ridge development from the River’s Edge Planned Area Development CR-2 District setbacks to permit the home to encroach into the rear building setback. Parcel is located at 420 E. Natasha Court, Oro Valley, AZ 85260.

Site plans are available for review during normal business hours at the Oro Valley Town Hall, Development and Infrastructure Services. Persons interested may appear in person, by agent or attorney, and the petitioners must appear or be represented.
