Responsibilities:
 
Street Maintenance
Provide minor preventative and reconstructive repairs within town roadways. These include contract and in-house surface treatments and pavement rehabilitation.  Respond to service requests of staff and constituents. Contract for special projects for the repair and preventative maintenance of public roads and drainage-ways. Respond to emergency traffic conditions during storms or other emergency events.

Drainage Maintenance
Minor repairs to drainage ways and structures within and under roadway prism such as erosion damage, blockage and structure integrity.

Town Building Maintenance
Town wide building maintenance repairs and prevention. Administer contracts and provide services for janitorial, pest control, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and communication needs.

Fleet/Fuel Maintenance
Scheduling and maintaining a database for Town Wide vehicles for repairs, maintenance, purchases and track fuel use.

Community Programs
Create and implement community programs such as “Adopt-A-Roadway” and contract labor with PPEP Inc. (labor force of developmentally disabled adults.)

Stormwater
Plan, develop and maintain stormwater programs to protect water quality, prevent flooding, minimize drainage hazards and preserve natural stormwater systems in a manner that ensures compliance with Federal and State regulations.  Create and implement community program "Adopt-A-Wash".
