Administration Program Overview
The primary function of the DIS Director is to ensure harmonious growth as well as the health, safety, and welfare of the public in the built environment. The Director, with support of the Town Engineer and Division Managers, provides leadership, direction and support to the Department's staff. One of Administration's primary functions is to provide effective public outreach and communication by providing information via the web page, public open house meetings, and other forums. The Administration Program also maintains an active role in regional financial and legislative actions for cooperation in the development and maintenance of a quality infrastructure which includes outside funding for projects from Pima Association of Governments (PAG), the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
