At all levels, for all ages, Oro Valley offers excellent opportunities for education.

K-12Kids on computers

There are five public schools in Oro Valley: Canyon Del Oro and Ironwood Ridge High Schools with grades 9-12; Richard B. Wilson Jr. Elementary School with grades K-8; Painted Sky Elementary in Rancho Vistoso with grades K-6 and Copper Creek Elementary, also with grades K-6. These schools are part of the Amphitheater Public School District where test scores outpace national, county and state averages in almost every category for reading language and math skills. The University of Arizona

Tucson's University of Arizona, with 18 colleges and 37,000 students, is ranked 14th among the public institutions and 22nd among all universities by the National Science Foundation.

Pima Community College

Pima Community College, with over 75,000 students, six accessible campuses, and three learning centers, is ranked among the top community college systems in the nation.

Lastly, with branches of the University of Phoenix and ITT Technical Institute nearby, Oro Valley offers countless opportunities for extending education.
